Our waterfowl hunt consists of either a field or water hunt for geese or ducks, you can request a certain species and we will do our best to accommodate but ultimately it depends on what’s here.
Expect 20-40 yard shots on Waterfowl, cold and windy weather, and lots of birds.
Decoy spread is set the night/morning before by the guides, all we need clients to do is wake up, eat some breakfast, and head to the field or marsh.
This is our most popular option, it consists of a morning waterfowl hunt and an afternoon upland hunt.
The same options apply for the combo hunt as the individual hunts.
3 Nights of Lodging and Meals Provided with 2 Days of Hunting
Our early season combo hunt starts of in the morning with a teal hunt that normally wraps up by 11, we then take a lunch break and head out to the dove field until the end of shooting light or the limit. Expect quick shooting all day and lots of missed shots. Definitely recommend a flat of 4 shot steel for teal and a flat of 6-7 shot for dove.
This hunt has two options either a (pit) hunting migrators over a big spread, or chasing feeds throughout the state. We will drive up to 4 hours for a feed but they are often more consistent. (No plugs, no limit)
Trout Fishing – a perfect way to spend the afternoon after a quick morning hunt. One of our guides will drive you out to some of our stocked ponds or natural springs to catch some amazing rainbow trout, feel free to bring any equipment you’d like or use ours.
Predator Hunt – our most popular add on hunt, help us take down some problematic predators after your morning hunt. BYOG (bring your own gun ) or use our provided .204’s (coyotes, bobcats, raccoons)
Prairie Dog Hunt – a great way to relax after you get a big ole tom or crush the morning snows. sit down and plink some dogs, nothing serious just have some fun and try to crush some of these pests.
